\nWinner of the wargame category in the 2014 solitaire print and play contest. Released in early 2015 as a physical board game.<\/p>\n
The game is a solitaire area-movement wargame, simulating the Reconquest of the Iberian peninsular by the Christian kingdoms from the 8th to 15th centuries.<\/p>\n
The player takes the role of the Christian forces. Starting off with a small part of Northern Spain, the player purchases Armies and cities, with the goal of defeating the Moslem forces and reconquering Iberia for Christendom.<\/p>\n
Game play involves battles, sieges, random events, and the actions of the Moslem forces, controlled by the game.<\/p>\n
Random events include Viking raiders, French intervention, Famine, Rebellions, Religious strife, Christian Military Orders, and more.<\/p>\n
