Viking Ring: Engagement ring found in Aalborg

Medieval (1200-1500 AD). The engagement ring found in 1884 during a ground excavation at Hotel Dania in Aalborg. The ring shows two hands in an affectionate handshake with a heart between the hands. A clear sign of a love bond between two lovers. The ring was used for marriage and engagement.
